About ratings
The whole idea of ratings is for people to have fun in scoring the photos they see. If your photos receive ratings that are lower than you would like, try to find some ways to make your pictures better. Take a look at UV's blog archives for photo tips and examples of great photo content. You can also pick up some books or look up some websites on basic photography techniques. Individual ratings of content contribute toward a composite score.
